Kaytetye bird app.
Kaytetye is a highly endangered Indigenous language of Australia. It is spoken in the Barrow Creek region of the Northern Territory. The Kaytetye language group have been documenting their language for many years with linguist Myfany Turpin. This app was made for younger Kaytetye people so they can learn more about their language and culture.
This app has been produced by the Research Unit for Indigenous Language at Melbourne University and Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education, as part of the Getting in Touch project.
The app was built on the Jila framework. http://gettingintouch.com.au
